Liverpool plot Takumi Minamino transfer deal for January
Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp could launch a raid on Red Bull Salzburg in January after being wowed by Takumi Minamino in the Champions League this season.
The Reds have discovered the Japan international - who can play across the frontline - has a release clause of just £7.25m.
Klopp is eager to bolster his squad as they mount a title tilt with recruiting backup for Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane top of his agenda.
And, having seen 24-year-old score against Liverpool in October and then impress in Tuesday night’s final group stage match, Minamino has given Klopp plenty of food for thought.
